Coaching has always been his passion with a keen interest in helping all levels of player regardless of age and ability. His knowledge, enthusiasm and professional attitude make him popular with clients and Paul would sum up his coaching philosophy in the following way:
"The vast majority of golfers' make the mistake of starting the swing before the right preparation has taken place. The four set - up fundamentals of grip, aim, stance and posture are the building blocks of any successful, repeating golf swing".
With all professionals being PGA certified they are able to custom fit customers with new equipment or answer and advise on any equipment queries or issues. Paul works at Metrogolf on a full - time basis and offers group coaching and individual lessons.
Philip Talbot
With over 25 years experience as a PGA qualified pro Philip brings a simple, easy to understand methodology to his teaching. He has given hundreds of golf lessons in London over many years to all standards of golfer.
Philip says:
"Any player, regardless of ability, professional or amateur is only as good as their shape of swing and delivery of the club face at impact. Golf is ball control and you control the ball by delivering the clubface correctly to it. Everybody has a shape of swing and clubface position which produces certain ball flights.
By understanding your ball flight, combined with correct PGA diagnostic and correction methods everyone should have the ability to improve their ball striking.
Philip works on a part-time basis at Metrogolf normally on a Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
