Understand Your Ball Flight

One of the best ways to build and correct your technique, alongside PGA professional's is by learning why various Ball Flights happen. By watching what the ball does when you play and practice you can go along way to self - correction.

Variable ball flights are determined by the relationship between the clubface at impact and the path that the club swings on in relation to the target line at impact.

In reality there are only three swing paths that can happen in relation to the target line at impact. They are:

In - To - Out

Out - To - In

In - To - Straight - To - In

Golf swings fall into these three catagories. Click on to the relevant ball flight that you suffer from and you will find possible causes and their results.

Push - The ball starts to the right of the target and stays there.

Hook - Ball starts to the right of the target then curves to the left to finish left of target.

Push Slice - The ball starts to the right of the ball to target linen then curves to the right.
